LOCREGIS Network

One of the success stories of LOCREGIS I project was working in close co-operation with project leaders building up a networking platform for Austrian, Finnish and Swedish experts. The main results of the platform were: 

1. Changing of experiences and transfer of expertise
2. Test of the LOCREGIS tools
3. Some new projects and many project ideas

The LOCREGIS II continued this work in Austria, Finland and Sweden with slightly different people and items. Interesting task was also to test how this idea of networking platforms could be transferred to the new regions, which were not aware of work done in LOCREGIS I.

During the project implementation it was agreed with the Commission to try this on tree different geographical areas: 

Ø      Baltic states

Ø      CEE countries

Ø      Mediterranean area 

One of the LOCREGIS II working groups, WG 2, was in the charge of the implementation of the new platforms. The participants of this working group were mainly those LOCREGIS regional partners, who had special interests to participate in networking with above-mentioned new regions.
