The inventory of local and regional information projects in Austria, Finland and Sweden has been implemented through the whole project period:

Because
of the fact that many regions are transregional and some project are funded by
several EU funding sources (to have valid analyse results the project was using
the concept of logical project), the number of projects by region and
EU-programme is totally 2.600 in the target countries.
The
inventory in LOCREGIS II was much more decentralised as in LOCREGIS I. New
feature in the database was a signature field for the people adding new projects
or updating the existing ones. After this information there where 20-25
organisations updating the database more than once. Of course also because of
the higher visibility many project leaders adding also self the information of
their projects, especially in the candidate states.
One
of tasks of the regional partners was to update the database.
In
Finland and Sweden LOCREGIS inventory was also more or less supported by
national organisations or initiatives. For example in Finland the national local
and regional information society spearhead project decided to use the same
database for their inventory.
